Ines Ivić (MEDS ’16, Croatia)

October 1, 2015

Ines is studying at CEU this year thanks to the supporters of the Alumni Scholarship, next|generation

In her own words:

In 2015 I earned my MA in Portuguese language and literature and Art History at the University of Zagreb.

After an internship in Lisbon's city museum, I became interested in alternative ways of teaching and learning so I volunteered at museums in Zagreb, gaining experience in museum education, organizing various workshops and other educational programs whose goal was to teach young people to observe, analyse and value art.

Since the beginning college, I’ve been part of a voluntary student group, led by CEU Alumna, researching historic documents relevant for the development of art on the Croatian coast. Thus, I chose to study at CEU, motivated by former students’ positive experiences, but also because I believe that the programme I am enrolling will be a good upgrade to my current knowledge and preparation for PhD study.

It’s a great honour for me to receive this scholarship and that the CEU Alumni recognized all my efforts and future plans.
